Questions runners ask before trusting a training system.
Short answers first. Praxys is specific about what it can infer, what remains uncertain, and where athlete consent sets the boundary.
What does Praxys do that my watch or training app does not?
Praxys does more than display data. It combines training and recovery information into a clear recommendation: train as planned, modify the session, or recover. It then shows the trends, evidence, and methodology behind that decision.
Which platforms can I connect?
Praxys currently connects with Garmin, Strava, COROS, and Oura to bring together activity and recovery data. Available managed-workout delivery options appear in Settings for each account.
How does Praxys combine sport science, personalization, and AI?
Praxys starts with your training data and published sport science, using deterministic calculations and validation rules to establish a reliable foundation. AI is then used where it is strongest: interpreting patterns, explaining trade-offs, exploring research, and adapting plans to your situation. Sources, explicit limitations, plan validation, and rule-based fallbacks keep the result traceable and controlled rather than asking you to trust a black box.
How do managed training plans work?
Praxys manages its own or explicitly adopted workouts in a rolling 14-day window, independently of the delivery provider. Plans can respond to your current training and recovery state. You choose from the delivery options available to your account and can pause, resume, resolve conflicts, or leave managed mode.
How does Praxys use my training data?
Your data is used to provide your training analysis, recommendations, and plans. Praxys does not sell athlete data or use it for advertising. The Privacy Policy explains processing, retention, and security details.
